Christians Together in Emsworth is an Ecumenical group of five churches in the village of Emsworth, Hampshire.
In addition to sharing worship regularly, Christians Together also shares a number of events focusing on the shared mission of the churches, and engaging with the local Emsworth Community.
Its purpose is to share and celebrate the things that the various Christian denominations in the group have in common and put into action our common discipleship of Jesus Christ in the modern world. Activities range from shared worship and prayer - with frequent ecumenical church services, to walks to pray for and demonstrate support for issues affecting our society today.
It also includes shared celebration at important times in the church's year, such as Advent, Lent and Easter as well as ecumenical activities such as Christian Unity, One World Week and Christian Aid Week.
The group also engages with the local Emsworth community by attending events such as the annual Horticultural Show and at Christmas.
Emsworth is located on the South coast, at the head of Chichester Harbour, straddling the Hampshire, West Sussex border. It has a population of 12,000 people.
